Bike Riding

Since I found out about my pregnancy, I retired from my routine of biking to work. Yesterday, I biked down to my friend Marikje's house. She suggested with go for a bike ride instead of a walk. I agreed that pedaling along the boardwalk sounded fun. Biking felt wonderful! We biked from Rose Avenue in Santa Monica to Will Roger's State Park and then, back to the Rose Cafe. What a loop! By 9 pm last night, my muscles were complaining. And, ironically, at my OB appointment last night, my doctor said she didn't want to hear about anymore bike rides since she thinks my balance is about to get "whompy." I still really do love my bike.
