Photo Shoot

Yesterday was quite exciting. By default, I got to be the photographer's assistant! Josh was shooting a Look Book for a jeans company. I started the day out by driving him to the shoot.

I said, "You are probably thinking I am the greatest assistant."

He said, "Why?"

"Because I am driving you to the shoot."

"Most assistants drive their photographers to their shoots."

"Oh," I said.

I was supposed to bring my little speakers and provide music for the models and stylist. I did that for awhile - until my speakers ran out of juice. Whoops! I ended up using the Pandora app because the model liked R&B. I'll admit, I was a bit stumped. "Is Beyonce R&B?" I asked the stylist. I let Pandora take it from there.

Just as the shoot was starting, one of the coordinators asked me to take photos - sort of a "behind the scenes" type of thing. Well, I got a bit carried away. I guess I noticed this when I saw the owner of the company carrying one of Josh's sand bags and a tripod down the stairs to the next location. I was still shooting my little Canon G10.
