Terrific at Two

Last Saturday was Hunter's Second Birthday. Katherine and James celebrated with a nautical-themed party. Family and friends gathered in stripes to celebrate Hunter's special day. Watching Hunter interact with the guests at his birthday reminded me of what a thoughtful spirit he has at the age of two. He calls adults by their first name and he waves and smiles. He seems to make a point to make sure that those around him are engaged and happy as well. Since his birth, he has brought our family so much joy and happiness. Wishing Hunter the most wonderful version of the terrific twos.

Baby Emerson's Shower

 Last Saturday a baby shower was thrown for Emerson and me. My dear friends Carolyn, Jill, Katherine and Liz hosted a wonderful celebration. The day included lots of my favorite people, books, cakes, and flowers. I can't believe the baby shower has all ready come and gone. The day went by in flash, but I am still giddy from all the love I was showered with, and all of the attention to detail that was put into this gathering.  I felt so loved and supported by close friends and family. Thank you to everyone who came and made me and my baby feel like the luckiest girls on the planet!

We Got Annie!

Just to continue with the cheesiness of my girl crush story, I decided to steal a line from the musical "Annie." My sister, Nathan and Annie are moving very close to Josh and I! We are thrilled. I am imagining lots of fun in our future. For more details, check out Cathi's blog. Rumor has it, that the crew will be arriving in Mar Vista on the eve of Eater.
